On Monday, 14 March, fans in Asia will get a "front-row" seat to the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards, the ultimate celebration of everything kids love in pop culture. Hosted by country music superstar and NBC’s The Voice coach Blake Shelton, the biggest and slimiest event of the year will tape from the “Fabulous” Forum in Inglewood, California, and feature some of the biggest names in television, movies, music and social media. The star-studded event will feature musical performances by DNCE, Charlie Puth with Wiz Khalifa, plus appearances by celebrities including Robert Downey Jr., Amy Poehler, Megan Fox, Ellen DeGeneres, Chris Evans, Meghan Trainor, Fifth Harmony, John Stamos, Heidi Klum, Cameron Dallas, Keke Palmer, Jason Sudeikis, Anthony Anderson, Zendaya, Chloe Bennet, Bethany Mota, Buddy Valastro, Dove Cameron, Grant Gustin, Josh Gad, Laura Marano, Will Arnett and cast members from Dance Moms, plus stars of Nickelodeon’s hit series Game Shakers (Kel Mitchell, Benjamin Flores Jr., Cree Cicchino, Madisyn Shipman, Thomas Kuc), The Thundermans (Jack Griffo, Kira Kosarin) and Henry Danger (Jace Norman).

During the breaks in the show, viewers in Asia will be able to watch exclusive videos of their Favorite Asian Sports Star nominees Kim Kurniawan (Indonesia), Pandelela (Malaysia), Jeron Teng (Philippines) and Irfan Fandi (Singapore) taking part in fun challenges before the winner is revealed.

Immediately following the 2016 Kids’ Choice Awards, Nickelodeon will premiere the new season of Make It Pop. The music-infused scripted series features all new songs and performances, heightened drama and lots of laughs. It continues to follow the coming-of-age journey of social-media maven Sun Hi (Megan Lee), bookish Corki (Erika Tham), fashion-forward Jodi (Louriza Tronco) and DJ Caleb (Dale Whibley) at Mackendrick Prep, who, out of their love of music, formed the band XO-IQ.
