TV Personality and Style Icon Sazzy Falak to host DIVA's 'How Do I Look? Asia'

NBCUniversal International Television has announced Sazzy Falak as the lead host of DIVA’s fashion makeover series How Do I Look? Asia. The Malaysian TV personality, film actress and style icon will complement Jeannie Mai, host of the U.S. How Do I Look?, who will be making special appearances throughout the Asian version to mentor participants.

“I am delighted to work on such a prestigious project with NBCUniversal that combines fashion, lifestyle and entertainment,” said Sazzy. “The original How Do I Look? is a huge hit with women across the region and I am sure they will love the Asian version just as much, if not more!”

Born Sazlini Shamsul Falak, 34-year-old Sazzy has made an illustrious career in the worlds of film and television. In 2006, she was named Best Supporting Actress at the Malaysia Film Festival for her role in Gol& Gincu, garnering critical appraise and a loyal fanbase. In addition to a wide variety of high-profile TV hosting stints, she was recently seen making a guest appearance on the fourth episode of E!’s Facing Up To Fazura, which led to an on-air reunion with her former Gol & Gincu co-star Nur Fazura.

Fashion is also her forte. Sazzy is the owner, curator and designer of homegrown label, Street Fashion by Sazzy Falak, an all-in-one role which gives her a critical eye for style. The fashion boutique has been both a local and international success, with designs being showcased at the 2013 New York Fashion Week, among others. Sazzy is also one of Malaysia’s most followed celebrities on social media. Warm and friendly with an outgoing personality, she has more than 700,000 fans on Facebook, where she often shares pictures of her 4-year-old twin daughters Imaan Lily and Tiara Rose.

As host for How Do I Look? Asia, Sazzy will help fashion-challenged participants revamp their look through glamorous makeovers. Produced by NBCUniversal’s Matchbox Asia production group, the 8 x 1 hour series is currently in pre-production and will air in mid-2015 on DIVA (Starhub Ch. 513, SingTel TV Ch. 303), the leading women’s entertainment channel in Asia.
