Dim Sum Dollies - The History of Singapore Part 2

What better way to welcome Singapore's 50th birthday next year then by taking a trip down memory lane with the Dim Sum Dollies to revist the yesteryears of Singapore till present times.

Dim Sum Dollies & Chopsticks

The history of Singapore was unfolded to us through their famously crazy antics, sassiness, candid humor and of course not forgetting the flamboyant costumes. Whats more, this year show also stars Hossan Leong!

"Facts are not guaranteed but laughter is confirmed!" - Selena Tan

The show was absolutely hilarious, the Dim Sum Dollies covered every aspect of Singapore - things that make us who we are today from politics, foreign talent, iconic moments in history, not forgetting our famous mascots of Singapore and campaigns. The creative team was ingenious in parodying the various songs (some of which are the latest like 'Let it Go' from the movie Frozen and 'All About That Bass') to fit into the show.

Can you remember these campaigns?

2 is enough - now? we don't have enough

Teamy the Productivity Bee says this show is GOOD

My favorite scene was the 'kebaya aerobics' where the cast all dressed in their tudungs and kebaya danced to the hit song 'All About That Bass', which was all about that political base, no trouble. The other scene was about 3 foreign sports talent in Singapore, the way they pronounced 'Sports Hub', their accents, conversation had us all laughing in stitches!

They even had an encore performance at the end so be sure to stay on until the curtain falls for good!

Bring your parents to go catch them before they end on 23 Dec 2014, for ticketing details visit http://www.sistic.com.sg/events/dimsum1214
