Visit the world's greatest football nations with British Airways


As Germany and Argentina prepare to battle it out to be crowned football world champions this week, British Airways today launched promotional fares to the top footballing nations.

Customers in Singapore can take advantage of fantastic all-inclusive fares to Frankfurt or Berlin from just S$1,397 in World Traveller economy, as well as to Buenos Aires from just S$2,424.

Despite not making it to the final, the airline is also offering discounted fares to Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo from just S$2,388 in World Traveller economy and to Amsterdam or Rotterdam from just S$1,320.

The special return fares are valid for travel between July 10, 2014 and March 31, 2015. The sale ends on July 31, 2014.

“We all know that Singaporeans are huge football fans, so this is the perfect opportunity to book a trip to visit some of the world’s most passionate football nations,” said Robert Williams, British Airways regional general manager, South East Asia. “Our twice-daily service between Singapore and London arrives at Heathrow’s Terminal 5, offering fantastic transit options to our extensive network of over 170 destinations.”

Terminal 5 is exclusive to customers of British Airways and its sister airline, Iberia, and serves as the gateway to British Airways’ extensive European and North American route networks. In March 2014, Terminal 5 was named by Skytrax as the World’s Best Airport Terminal for the third consecutive year.
