WIWT: 1. Audi Fashion Festival

Phew. I'm feel so terribly dizzy right now. It must be from the tons of things I was trying to complete this week! I've been working on this "pet project" of mine, added on with work. Never felt so busy before.

I was invited to the Audi Fashion Festival just a week ago but I haven't found time to write about it! I was so pleased when I was given the invitation from Wendy :) I was given tickets to the PARCO Japan Showcase, "DressCamp Fall 2014". I was really looking forward to this show 'cause I love Japanese Designers. There's a certain special touch to their artwork that lets you know it's Japanese.

I guess I would give my experience three stars? The show was perfect, but the management this year was really frightening. Three shows were pushed back for 30 minutes each, and there wasn't enough time for us to chill, get drinks or visit the booths before watching the show. This year's location was a disappointment. It was in the middle of orchard road, and it obviously isn't as exclusive as last year's, where they held it beside the Singapore Flyer!

Some insider visuals from the runway:

The photos were so blurry cause the models were too fast for my camera :(

Anyhow, it was a great show.

Believe it or not, I bought my dress on the day of the show! Initially, I wanted to wear something loud and daring since it's a fashion show, but in the end I decided to go for something simple. Simply because I tend to gravitate towards basic outfits with clean, plain lines. So, I was deciding between this cobalt blue dress and a light grey maxi dress, and yes thank God I picked blue. The beautiful shade of blue made me feel really... awesome. Haha can't think of any other better adjectives.

I paired the cobalt blue with black shoes and silver accessories, with a good red lippie. I kinda loved wearing the plain cobalt dress, but I wish I could pull off something loud and daring someday. Anyway, I think it's time for me to workout. Could feel a tiny muffin top forming. Oops. Of course I was hoping to channel the "effortless" look/aura but I guess we all know that effortless is a little too hard to achieve.
