Savour 2014 ~ A Culinary Adventure

Gourmet food fans there’s much to rejoice for Savour 2014 is back promising to be BIGGER & BETTER! In its 3rd year running Savour 2014 will be held over five days from 5th – 9th March 2014 at The Promontory at Marina Bay in conjunction with “iLight Marina Bay 2014” (Asia's only sustainable light projection festival). The Promontory’s expansive open space overlooking the picturesque Marina Bay waterfront promenade allows the organizers to redesign and create a rustic village-feel, with the restaurants interspersed admist feature bars, cafes, bakeries and dessert shops.

Whats more, the Gourmet Market area has doubled, featuring a large Japanese seafood section with products and chefs flown from Tsukiji market in Tokyo and a large meat section where master butchers will present top quality wagyu beef, lamb and roasted veal. The famous cheese section also returns with over 200 varieties of cheeses. Complimentary oyster masterclasses, wine and cheese pairing, two wine theatre area, etc. A Jasons Gourmet Kitchen that will teach attendees how to cook using the specialist ingredients such as avocado, french tomatoes, and organic vegetables. 

This year stars will include local stalwarts such as Emmanuel Stroobant of Saint Pierre, Kentaro Torii of Forlino Singapore and Moon Kyung Soo of Mikuni. International celebrity chefs making their appearance at Savour 2014 include Michael Caines (2 Michelin stars) and Henrik Yde (1 Michelin Star), as well as new movers and shakers in the culinary word such as James Knappet (Kitchen Table) and Mark Sargeant (Rocksalt). Take this opportunity to sign up for hands-on cooking classes with the Celebrity Chefs!
